The assignment was to present a poem, that was provided by the professor, in any manner we saw fit to express the meaning of it, by extracting the words or sentences from the poem. The approach used should express the poem visually by experimenting with different types of mediums, both digital or/and hand-crafted.
My Approach
I took the poem, printed and cut out each of its sentences. By using the photocopy machine, I placed the sentences I decided to use and created an abstract collage. I photocopied the sentences in an outwards motion, and afterwards, I crumpled the paper to give the collage a 3D effect. Finally, I photocopied it one last time to bring all the pieces together and to add more depth to the presentation of the project.
